Denio’s Hosts Dad Favorites During Dad’s Weekend

Denio’s Farmers Market and Swap Meet in Roseville will celebrate Father’s Day on Saturday, June 20, with American classics: classic cars, craft beers, live music and hand-dipped corn dogs. The fourth annual “Dad’s Day at Denio’s” event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will offer fun for the whole family.

“There’s no better way to celebrate Father’s Day Weekend than to come out to Dad’s Day at Denio’s and indulge in some of Dad’s favorites,” said Eric Denio, operations manager of Denio’s Farmers Market & Swap Meet. “Now in its fourth year, Dad’s Day at Denio’s is family orientated and filled with fun for everyone.”

Dad’s Day will take place within the market in an area known as the “flats”. More than 75 classic cars, including the Denio’s owned 1947 fire truck, will be on display. In addition, specialty beers will be available for tastings and purchase to those over the age of 21 for a small fee. A true American treat, all families are invited to try one of Denio’s famous hand-dipped corn dogs to enjoy while basking in the sun, enjoying live music from Just Musik and celebrating Dad.

If you own a 1975 or older classic car, Denio’s invites you to register for the event by visiting deniosmarket.com for an application or email info@deniosmarket.com. The first 100 cars to arrive on-site will receive a swag bucket filled with a special event t-shirt and other goodies.

This is a free event for everyone and parking is just $3 per car. Denio’s is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine. The Friday Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Denio’s is located at 1551 Vineyard Road, Roseville, CA 95678. For additional information or directions, visit DeniosMarket.com.

About Denio’s Farmers Market and Swap Meet

Denio’s Roseville Farmers Market was founded in 1947 by Jim and Marilee Denio. It began small, with a single individual selling produce near the Southern Pacific Railroad Yard. Denio’s has always been a family-oriented venture. As the auction grew, so did the Denio family. Today, Jim and Marilee’s son, Ken, carries on the family business by maintaining the same values and traditions started by his parents over 65 years ago. With four generations on hand to serve you, Denio’s will continue to offer you fresh produce and bargain merchandise for years to come.
